Whilst, technically not in Co. Donegal, ASPACE2 Multi-Sensory centre is situated just 15 minutes across the border, based in Eglington just outside the city of Derry.
Their Multi Sensory and Soft Play Centre is a welcoming and adaptable space with a number of rooms including three multi-sensory studios, a soft play area and a multi-sensory gym which are all thoughtfully designed to cater to people with additional needs and disabilities of all ages.
The Multi Sensory studio is designed to gently engage the senses, offering a safe and interactive space where you can explore and enjoy different sensations. The carefully chosen equipment can help nurture awareness of new concepts and provide a broader understanding of the world through positive, sensory-rich experiences.

Their multi-sensory studio uses Switch4 technology which enables a person of any ability to control their environment using their i.e., lights, sounds, and projections, using switches.

90” wall projection with personalised projection options
UV lights for visual stimulation

The Factory Floor Catering School & Coffee Shop
The Factory Floor Catering School & Coffee shop located at ASPACE2 is a social enterprise provide training opportunities and employment for adults with learning, physical, sensory disabilities and/or ASD, within Aspace2 facilities. Its a great place to enjoy breakfast, lunch or just a coffee in their spacious restaurant while you are visiting the multi-sensory centre.
