Based in Falcarragh in beautiful west Donegal, Caring Capall are a family run organisation offering unique therapies to enhance the quality of life for children and adults with physical, emotional and cognitive difficulties.
Their therapeutic sessions are conducted on a one to one basis in an indoor arena or sensory trail where they establish individual lesson plans, goals as well as building a relationships between horse, client and coaches. The horses move with a multidimensional rhythmic motion that mimics the human movement of walking which promotes strength, balance , coordination , flexibility and confidence for riders. Therapeutic riding also has a calming effect which supports overall emotional regulation.
All sessions are conducted by QQI Level 6 Therapeutic Riding Coach and Special Needs Assistant SNA Level 5/6 .
